The Footprint Awards recognize individuals whose work furthers the foundation’s mission in areas impacting the environment, creative culture, or education/learning.
By recognizing efforts that contribute to the vibrancy of the community and offer opportunities for public engagement, we seek to highlight and encourage exemplary service, improve communities, and assist in the retention of local talent. Nominations for the Footprint award are made without the knowledge of the nominee. An external committee made up of community members submits nominations and a separate selection committee then chooses award recipients. There is no application process, nor is there any condition on the recipients’ use of the grant funds. We only hope they will continue to do good work to enhance our community.
