Shane Morrow

Shane is co-founder and executive director of RISE, formerly Jazzanooga.

Jazzanooga started in 2011 as a day-long festival honoring Jazz Appreciation Month. It evolved into an independent and thriving, minority-founded, nonprofit organization now known as RISE - Responsive Initiatives for Social Empowerment.

RISE is dedicated to using the arts to transcend cultural barriers and to addressing the lack of diverse arts and cultural programming in the greater Chattanooga area.

RISE offers multifaceted cultural programming year-round to revitalize, sustain and promote Chattanooga's extraordinary cultural arts heritage.

Shane is an avid lover of the arts, Executive Director of RISE, and Founder/Director of THECREATIVEUNDERGROUND.
